Ok, spent 45minuets walking to game in the puring rain, said to the guy:

"Hi m8, i'd like to pre-order Halo 2 for Xbox please"
"Yea cool, what i'll do is take your name and give you a recipt"
"Ok then"
"That's £3 please"
"It is?, I thought I pay the full amount and then pick it up"
"No, you just pay a deposit and then the rest on the day"
"Oh ok" *Hand over £20 to pay for three lowsey quid, i brung two twenties to buy the game*
*Also, what we are doing on the release date is, if we get more then 20 people to put their names and phone numbers down, we will open at 12am for people to pick up their early coppies. This will be on a Wednesday night, would you like to put your name down"
"Hell yea"
"Ok, if we get more then 20 people we will phone you to let you know if the store is going to be open"

"Ok thanks bye"

Long story short:
If I paid a £3 deposit, is that taken off the game when I buy it on release night?
So will the game be £29?
Or did I just hand over £3 to help make sure a copy will be there for me?

So when I buy it, do I pay £29 or do i now have to pay the full amount on top of the £3?

Thanks.

The £3 comes off the price of the game when you buy it on that Wednesday nite.

So say the game is £30, after you have put the £3 deposit down, you collect the game it will now cost £27.

But make sure you take the reciept with you to claim the game!

Usually it's £32.99 on the net (as Halo 2 is I believe) but usually it's £37.99 in store. I'd check it out mate :)

I emaild them, I think I have a case as it says no where on the site that, that price is just an online one.

I'll copy/past email (maybe) when/if they reply.

I think they'll tell me tough.

Well that was a waste of £3.

Cause I just bought the game online for £14.99 :P

www.lxdirect.co.uk

I forgot i had a code for free PaP
25% off first order
and £15 of any order

Brung it down from £39.99 to £14.99 inc free pap.

LOL, so happy, but now im stuck with a pre-order recipt :(
