You start off with 250 points (currency with which yo do stuff in the game) and after that you earn 7 points every 3 hours (crap system which I'm hoping they change) with which you try and dominate the musical world... So yeah. You release singles and albums, and there's charts for them, meaning we may be doing battle in the charts sometime soon.
Could be good - i'm enjoy it, so yeah.

Respect.
Quicktip: Don't spend most of your money on 'skillz' to start with. Write a few tunes, get gigging. Though obv. spend some on skillz, otherwise your songs will be... crap.
EDIT:
Just checked.
I think my single is rated better, and I'm way ahead of you for the quality of band stats. 78 and 45 or something, to your 45 and 43.
Because me (Actual Size) is two places lower in our league thing than The Red Shift.
Yet I have £300,000 more and have sold about 6,500 more singles. Neither of us have sold any albums.
So how does that work?

Same here.
I have the UK No 7 and 14 singles (albeit with different bands).
Number 1 AND two spots belong to me.
I'm back. Prepare to all drop one place*.
