Ahahahaha.

Later posts from Wyn:

"What's so good about Alan Shearer?"

"Wigan for champions."

I doubt it. Where would he go? It could only be Juve or Barclona and I can't see him leaving because everything he needs in his career is at Highbury (in terms of him performing well, full support around him and a nice pay roll, surrounds and city...)

i think the Van Der Sar signing is a good one, though i'm still a fan of Howard he does make mistakes but isn't fortunate to get away with them and from the games i saw Park in last year he looked very good.

Least it's a tad more sensible than what the tabloids always came out with when you won the title in the 90's *United falling to pieces, their dominance is over!!!* Course that last part is actually true now but it's Chelsea who will be dominating in the coming years, not the goons. Plus i'm still predicting Henry will be asking Bobby what the french for transfer request is come the end of this season :-D

What's so fantastic about Owen, he had a good team behind him at Liverpool, plus I don't think the Man Utd team would suit his style. He hasn't got the speed he used to have.

Um, I believe that Alex Ferguson is doing what he did in the mid nineties, bringing up a young team to be the next champions, regardless of Chelsea's money or not. They will manage that in couple of years, with players like Rooney, Ronaldo, O'Shea.... shame they sold nardeillo. This season I reckon they'll reach Second.... Arsene Wenger will do the same thing in years to come, it's just Man U's time. Chelsea are sort of disrupting the natural flow of things.

I'm suprised how many have put Man U 2nd and us 3rd. I mean Man U didn't put much of a showing in last year and haven't really added to the team.

Perhaps everyone sees it as being close between the two, but it amuses me that losing Vieira instantly means everyone thinks we're going to finish one place lower than they most likely would have otherwise suggested.

Personally I don't make a prediction, apart from the obvious:

1 = Moneybags

I also think Meka is insane. Liverpool and Tottenham would get nose bleeds from being that high.

6. Middlesborough
7. Manchester City - Carling Cup
8. Everton
9. Birmingham City
10. Tottenham Hotspur
11. Aston Villa
12. Charlton Athletic
13. Newcastle United
14. West Brom
15. Sunderland
16. Portsmouth

Move Everton to 19th if they either get into group stages in Champions League or last 16 in UEFA cup.

Either that or if Van Nistelrooy finds his form.

He is, haven't you seen him play? He scored on his debut.

Anyway, if Man Utd get Owen then they will get in the top 3 but if not they will probably come fourth.
