I'm considering buying the third but I'm afraid it'll turn out crap just like everyone says. I'm even afraid that it'll make me like the originals less.
Is it worth seeing just to watch the last film in the trilogy and see what happens to Mikey or should I just pretend that it never existed?
Unfortunately I hadn't seen the first so I was constantly cross-referencing in a less-than-quiet way with others in the room, which annoyed them
For a complete and action packed Gangster film, my vote goes to "The Untouchables", perhaps not the most realistic of films but very watchable and quite ... touching
I aim to see Godfather 1 & 3, on my 'To do before I die'

Really?
I thought that although it was much longer than the first it had a faster general pace. If you know what I mean. More action.

???
Granted, I don't think it's as good as the first, but boring? Ah come on. It's pretty long and can feel pretty aimless at times, but it's immaculately filmed, superbly acted and ends on just the right note, a perfect catharsis for Michael Corleone.

Out of the two I'd say the second film is best. The parts with Bob De Niro as Vito are excellent.
I'll get around to watching the other 2 eventually.
