Rooney's second goal today was pure class.

He should have a much better season this year with a decent pre season bhind him.

Yeah - beats three defenders then just a delicate chip from the edge of the box. That made an otherwise boring game worthwhile.

And I swear he turned around and walked away before the ball even hit the net, too, the cocky so-and-so...

And his first goal was as perfect a finish as you could want.

Kind of proves that if you do play him in Van Nistelrooy's position, he does deliver as well as any pure stiker would.
