?

I'm thinking that most people here have a camera, and probably 80% of you never use it.

So ... same thing as the Short Story comp, obviously.

If you're interested, just say so, then I'll edit this post with a topic title for your photos, and a closing date for the compo. Then, snap away and I'll pick whichever one I like the most, and whoever wins gets to set the next competition and so on and so forth.

Any takers? Aye, go on.

Fantastic, let's get started.
The first topic's going to be:

Glass

So .. er ... yeah.

Dunno how long to give really, we'll have to see as we go along, but I'll put a stop date down as the 20th of August at the moment.

[Edit - up to 2 photos per person]

Gogogo

Okay, results are here. Hooray!

3rd place:

No optical zoom, just a digital 5x zoom that is a bit crap as it reduces the picture quality quite dramatically. The insect shots are all done in macro mode.

Don't use your zoom! Fool! Use the macro mode! (The flower button on your camera!!)

He's got a Canon Ixus i.

Pretty nice camera, and a fantastic macro mode.

Shame it doesn't have an optical zoom.

Must just have a really nice zoom lens to get in so close and so good. Mine's a bit hit-and-miss doing close-up shots of anything, but I usually take landscapes and stuff anyway.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Just a quick note to say thanks for a very good service ... in fact excellent service..
I am very happy with your customer service and speed and quality of my broadband connection .. keep up the good work . and a good new year to all of you at freeola.
