The adverts are actually terrible, but the show itself is amazing - original, exciting, and tense, such a rarity. Check it out, or set your fancy Sky+, 'cos once you've seen the first double-length ep you'll be hooked.

Yes it would. Having the same cast means that either a) they don't get rescued, or b) the rescue plane/boat crashes some where else which would be pretty stupid.

Yeah, I missed the first because I was working, and I didn't know there was s second until my wee brother told me it'd finished.

Nah, think about it.
It wouldn't be right if it was a whole new group of people.
Providing no names are mentioned, I don't see a problem with it.

There's a chair in that picture?

I count that as a spoiler.
From what I saw, though, I think I'll grow to like it. The way the series it appears to be set up, it steals half one of 24's biggest ideas (48 hours, but not literally) and mixes it in with what I liked in The 4400 on SkyOne; survival from each individuals persepective, running parallel and interflowing with what you already know and have seen from others. ...If that makes any sense? :)
Just out of interest, does anyone know if/when we're likely to see the second series of The 4400 on Sky at all?
Also, what happened to Angelina Jolie? I remember when most people thought she was quite weird, with all the blood and everything... Next thing you know, Brad Pitt's pumping her and *suddenly* we all see her as the finest thing on God's Earth!
