Now an 85 year old Grandmother is planning to take legal action against Take Two. Seems like she just caught on. Link below. The reason for putting it in this forum - it seems strange to me that 17 and 18 make such a huge difference in terms of age. I'm sure the "M" rating is a 17 and over thing whilst adults is 18 (or is it 21 in America?). If its just 17, 18, then seriously, what can happen in just one year? Admittedly, you have to draw the line somewhere, otherwise the same argument would then apply to 16, 17.

Also, this Grandmother bought the game for her 14 year old son or something like that. Sounds like she already made a mistake, or have I got the age ratings entirely muddled?

Its been said in a fair few topics already, but I have to ask again, why is there so much fuss about this? As discussed previously (see Goatboy's topic), porn is all over the place, any muppet can look it up on the net if they want and it'll certainly be more "realistic" than some tiny pixels in a computer game. Also, and I think this one should be obvious too, sex is normal, that's how we're here (I was never all that bothered with Biology but I soon dismissed the stork theory). I don't think sex should hold anywhere near as much fear as violence.

1) A 17 year old saw a man (in a computer game) blow up 50 other men with a rocket launcher whilst evading and killing numerous police officers. He later stole a car and ran over 16 pedestrians in a high speed chase.

Verdict: Seems okay to me, after all that person was 17 so is unlikely to recreate the events themself.

2) A 17 year old saw saw a man and a woman writhing around together, both with extremely happy expressions on their faces. They were later seen kissing and even hugging with no clothes on.

Verdict: This is an outrage! What if this 17 year old goes out and breeds? There could potentially be a baby on the cards if that 17 year old isn't careful. We don't think a special thing like that should happen at all.

Its always about money and fame though for the people involved. If it wasn't then why don't they go and focus on something that matters. If they put half as much effort into sorting out real problems around the world as they do into rubbing themselves aginst Clinton and co...

Sorry, got a little carried away. Rant fin. Just click the link and ignore the rest of it if you want to save time.

The game is now banned in Australia because of the hidden scene

So in australia the whole killing and guns and drug thing in the game, you have to be atleast 15 to buy the game, but the sex scene they're not old enough to see it because it might make them go out and have sex with their girlfriend or something. Which is wrong, I guess.
