NO MORE CONSOLE WAR TOPICS!!!!!!
If you must, there is a forum for this!

It's not just regulars, it's newbies and staff.
I think "good books" is harsh. I think that they should try to change their ways to be liked. The majority of people here are proper foggers who like to read sensible posts about gaming and have a chat about it. It's just common sense.
It's like saying "Why shouldn't I be loud and abusive at school just to make friends". You can be loud and abusive if you want, but you might end up having a hard time.
Believe us, we are not making them follow these guidelines, but we are doing them a huge favour.
The fact is, they either read the rules and adhere to them, or they break the rules and get vilently reminded of them. Even by fellow newbies. Sometimes by JATs.
'If you haven't got anything good to say, don't say it?'
You would be surprised how intimadating it is for some people to join these forums and the first thing they see is someone telling them what and what not to do. I thought these forums were all about different people disscusing topics, if you tell them what they can and can't do, we will just have the same old people voicing their opinions each time and there will be no variation.
So what if people do console wars, if there is a valid point that is worth being read, why shouldn't it be put where the most people are going to read it.
This sounds like I'm having a big moan, but I'm not, just trying to say what I think :-).
Don't clutter up either of the FOGs with them, as we have heard it all before.
