... I guess, but I'm not sure.

Is this just ridiculous? Or is it me?

For those too lazy to click, a lawyer is basically calling for The Sims 2 to be banned because you can see nude characters in the game. No sex. No shennanigans of any kind.

Just naked pixels.

Pathetic.

It's that same lawyer that started the GTA-SA thing a while ago, this is just stupid.

According to the article
"If someone with an extreme amount of expertise and time were to remove the pixels, they would see that the sims have no genitals. They appear like Ken and Barbie."

It's just stupid Sim's is harmless, i wonder if the same guy will go after the lula series next?

"The nudity placed there by the publisher/maker, Electronic Arts, is accessed by the use of a simple code that removes what is called 'the blur' which obscures genital areas," he said.

In other words, the game was released to the public by the manufacturer knowing that the full frontal nudity was resident on the game and would be accessed by use of a simple code widely provided on the Internet."

What has hot coffee started? These guys have clearly just found out what "mods" are and are working their way through the list trying to find offensive ones.

"Thompson went on to note that children can also be made to appear nude in the game - "Much to the delight, one can be sure, of paedophiles around the globe who can rehearse, in virtual reality, for their abuse."

What a numpty.

If anyone can get off on the images of naked Sim Children, then they're no danger to actual flesh n blood kids.

In fact, I'd go so far as to say that honest-to-God kiddydiddlers probably look down their noses at them. I mean Christ, imagine trying to trade paedophiliac material online and offering a few snaps of a nekkid SimKid. You'd get laughed out of the wrongcock club...

Sheesh... that guy needs to get a life.

He obviously had a tragic accident as a child which led to a hatred of videogames.

'If someone with an extreme amount of expertise and time were to remove the pixels, they would see that the sims have no genitals. They appear like Ken and Barbie."

But that's not good enough for Thompson. "The sex and nudity are in the game. That's the point," he said.'

Ahaha, for once I find myself defending EA...
