So it looks like the latest attempt of controversy by McMahon has backfired with UPN demanding Hassan be taken off the show. So looks like i've finally got my wish and the offensive gimmick meister is off the tv. Whether he'll be fired or just repackaged with another gimmick (though not quite sure how that'll work) remains to be seen.

It was only a matter of time, in my opinion. I could only see the gimmick getting worse.
I actually like Hassan as a wrestler, i think he has the look and the talent...i just hate his gimmick.
If his gimmick is changed it hink he can be successful. Its only up to the good ol' creative geniuses to see what they can come up with.

Thing is they can't really repackage him as even the biggest mark will know it's still Hassan and as we're in the age of the IWC a mask won't work either

They could send him back but chances are that the Media will just follow him there and anywhere else he goes. I know the Hassan gimmick was rubbish but it wasn't his fault, he just had to follow WWE orders.

Best news ever! i hope he gets taken off the show for good i dont think ive watched a whole raw or SD event since he arrived
