Why the hell hasn't there been a topic made about this already? We're absolutely doing them and you're all like... not caring and stuff.

Unless you've been sat in front of the telly watching all the action like myself. That's the only decent excuse.

So yeah, first test, it's looking encouraging... if only someone could snipe Warne before our innings begin...

So yeah.

I'm undecided which I prefer, golf or cricket. Not because I'm a big fan of either sport, but because there's no better way to waste away a day that you've got nothing to do with than lounging on a sofa and watching a match/tournament over several days.

So, yeah, Ashes. I miss Graham Thorpe.

Yeah, but African Pete replaced him, so all is well.

Let's up McGrath, Warne and every other decent australian gets injured.
But what are the chances of 11 injuries?

Golf because there's always something interesting happening, cricket has dull patches. Also, in golf there's a bloke called Tiger. You just don't get that quality with cricket.

Golf? What? My god, there's nothing that matches the thrill of a wicket in that paltry sport called Golf. And there's no-one to 'support'. I mean, there are people, but then you're just gay.

No, but I can still appreciate the quality. I can't say I've got out of my seat and cheered/screamed for any cricket players or team either.

Every wicket England got first innings I got up and shouted 'get in!' in the same way I'd cheer for Leeds pwning some small team like yoo.
