Oh, and by the way, I've called the league 'The League of Baros'. So if you've got any problems with that, don't join. Only kidding, I might change it. Simple stuff, really. I haven't got Baros in my team though - it pains me.

He's not really that cheap, and he hasn't been getting points recently, which is why he's been dropped.

I've already got Murphy and Rommedahl in midfield (so Charlton had better keep playing well), plus Speed, who is very cheap, and does well enough.

I'd read it wrong, I thought you'd brought Van Nistelrooy in for Yakabu.

Everyone's got Lampard, and most as captain, so him getting points doesn't give anyone an advantage any more.

Dunno why I'm giving tips, but Gamst-Pedersen is an excellent fantasy player, gets loads of points and is cheap. I'd have kept him.

Given is about 2 less than Cech, Yakubu is about 2 less than van Nistelrooy, and Pedersen is only about 3/3.5 cheaper than Lampard, so I think I actually made a profit here. Well, it's not really a profit. I've just got more points to spare.

How on Earth did you afford those changes?

I've made lots of changes this week:

Given in for Cech.
Lampard in for Gamst-Pedersen.
Yakubu in for Van Nistelrooy.

Got some points to spare, but I didn't want to waste anything more than 8.

I've made my transfers. Gerrard and (the extremely useless) Noble out, Nolan and N'Zogbia in. Cost me 4 points but it should be worth it.

83points in a week woohoo my mum and brother didnt beat me for a change! Gota love Lampard as captin!!

Wow, ended up with 81 points. The Actim came through for me with extra for Owen, Lampard and Chimbonda. Best week ever for me.

Now I have a more settled team, I'm 19th. And rising...

You're right. They hadn't added the bonuses when I typed that up. Extra 3 for Lampard (6 because he's captain), 3 for King, and 1 for Yakabu. That makes this week a personal best for me.
