So yesterday I preordered my DS from videogamesplus.ca. I've bought games brand new from this company on eBay, and knew what the service is like, so I ordered from there.
Today, I realise I'll also need some games. However, there seems to be no launch games that look... appealing.
What has everyone else preordered? And I swear they had Mario 64 DS on their site yesterday...
*dies*

MArio 64 DS is not only the bigget title due out for the DS at the moment but is also the biggest Mario release since the original Mario 64.
Middling indeed.
The three games you can order is:
Mario 64 - £20, released the day after the DS
Spiderman 2 - £25, released the week before Mario (they did this for Spiderman on the Gamecube. Hoping that people were so desperate for a bit of Gamecube that they'd buy the game a week before they could play it! :-D)
Rayman - £28, released a week after Mario.
There's a second set of games on December 31st, including Mario DS and Sonic.
Then the really juicy games come out on Jan 10th.
Metriod, Animal Crossing, Mario Kart...
I reckon the prices will be a little higher for the UK launch, say £120 - £150 for the handheld itself, and £25 - £35 for the games, but there's no regional locks so s'all good.
That article Dringo showed us about Mario 64x4 gave two promising hints:
You only need one copy of the game for the multiplayer.
Now whether this means that you get a crappy demo version with one level, like the single cart link up on the GBA meant, I'm not sure.
But perhaps the fact they mentioned it meant otherwise?
THe other was the thumbstrap idea, so maybe Nintendo have found a way to allow for analogue style control for good 3D gaming after all?
Could be good.
Can't see me ever having money again though. :-)
I'll wait to around Christmas, or soon after, when there's some half-decent games to choose from. The launch looks pretty crap at the moment.
Even then, if it gets a PAL release about January, perhaps early Feb, I might wait 'til then.

That be the demo...
Well that's what it says in NGC.
I'll be getting Mario 64 x 4 and Wario Ware on launch.
