I need to have a main menu and a submenu in each case - which is why I have a main menu and a submenu on both (see, cunning!). Also, all the photos are going to be thumbnailed on the sidebar of each page rather than embedded in the page - don't ask, it's a long story.
Anyway, onions please:

They're not links for a reason, so please don't post back with links. Also, they're running off my PC, and as such won't be available when my PC isn't on - it's usually turned on between around 9am and 11pm or thereabouts.
Cheers peeps.

I know the feeling - I find blue an easy colour to work with, and struggle with green a lot.
Have to say I'm not mad about the design either. Just... Doesn't work, in my opinion - especially the green. I dunno.
Also, does anyone know how I can ensure that the dark green left menu bar and the main page content are always the same length? In firefox the menu bar is slightly shorter, and in IE, it just doesn't work at all.

I'm not too bad with layouts, but I have difficulty making them look professional - it tends to be the little touches like small graphics and subtle background images that I can't do well.
My concern with both of the designs is that they are too dark, but my client wants it to be very green - that's their colour.
You say that design isn't your strength, but you seem to come up with some pretty good layouts.
Looks like the browser needs to find www.ksdev.ath.cx ...
Perhaps an IP rather than a name for external, no?
