Ah, I remember the ITV Robin of Sherwood series....
that Celtic warbling theme tune (by Clannad), those rough and ready men of Sherwood forest, the gritty edged 'too dark for early evenings' episodes. Not to mention having two different Robins, Michael Praed and Jason Connery.
Fantastic.
So, now it seems BBC is to try the Robin Hood treatment to fill the Doctor Who gap. I wonder how this one will turn out, will it be more swashbuckle or sourcery? We shall have to wait and see...
