"Stupid Book"

Argh. I've just spent a good five minutes trying to decipher a paragraph in a book on strategic decision making, on decision analysis.

They were trying to tell me the two ways of using decision anaylsis. After wading through twaddle about 'analytical framework', it turns out they were trying to tell me that the two ways were to analyse yourself, and to anaylse someone else.

Thanks a lot for that.

I guess that's what happens when you try to turn a short article into a whole book.
It completely sucks.


I was planning to have finished extracting information from it by sunrise. I'm not sure I'll make it now.

Ahhh media studies. The hands on stuff is the best. The other stuff is simply regurgitating what your teacher likes about various shots etc until you can feel the sickly bile rising up.

Thankfully I only had to do about 3 months for the media segment.

Making films does rule though.

Ah yes. I only had to do a 10,000 one myself. That's the beauty of doing two subjects in your degree.

(check if the bibliography and footnotes count towards the total word count: because in my one we had to put in a bibliography and also put the full references as footnotes at the bottom of each page with everything adding to the wordcount meaning you had to write considerably less than you first thought).

Heh, it's for my uni assignment (evil full-year postgrad thing).

Sadly the magic 8-ball doesn't do 20,000 word dissertations.

And believe me, I've asked.

The current book i am reading is all about creation, it's pretty good.

I took it out from the library.

But i read it, therefore I failed.

And I'll read it more before sunrise, so will fail more :^(
