I got burnt the other day and I slapped some aloe vera oil (from the plant) all over it as well as some lavender stuff and the next day it was a nice tan. Make fun if you want but it does work.
I'm sitting at home, ill with a cold...yes, a cold and drinking a coffee.
I got burned too, I thought I was too hard for suncream. Now Im cradling my arms, neck, back and knees like a little girl.
Man am I burnt... was out shovelling some stones for the front garden, 2 tonnes of the beggers. Its a sizzling 34 degrees up here (Scotland)
Summer's excellent you whinging girls. Don't fear though, if you stay in front of your computers all day I'm sure you'll all manage to keep your pasty complexions.

Depends which side you bat for. But surely ladies must like the hot weather, it gives them/you an excuse to buy a whole new wardrobe!

I love this weather, but adore winter so much more when there's snow. It's so much fun building snowmen [shuddup, you're never too old. just add extra bits as you get older.. :)], having snowball fights and trying not to slip on the icy paths and getting all cozy in front of a fire.
Then there's water fights and sunbathing in the summer, proud of your tan, with perfect music. Only problems I find with summer are not being able to get to sleep at night so end up sleeping on the floor, and not being able to cool yourself down if you're in a crowded place or something. Meh to that.
