How much do you pay for, tickets, drinks, popcorn etc? When the cheapest time to go and how much then?
Just trying to find out if my local is the norm or charging exorbitant prices.

Newry: £5 adult, another £4 for a large popcorn and a large drink. (Only size is large)

Belfast: Something like £6 or £6.50 adult.

You don't have to pay it outright, you just have to agree to a 12 month contract. I pay £9.99 a month direct debit and take full advantage of it.

Slough did it last time i was there, £10 a month. The only problem was it was you couldn't buy per month, £120 for the year, worth it if you can afford that much and are going a lot.

At the UGC in Rubery I frequent the person pushing my wheelchair gets in free.

I still have to pay, though.

When I went to see Star Wars two weeks ago, it cost me £4.50. I live in Poole by the way.

You can get a bag of maltesers and a medium coke (which is huge) for a fiver. It's a rip-off really.

If you go more than twice a month, get an unlimited card, most cinemas do them.

The VUE cinema at Cribbs is extortionate, but luckily I have a Connexions card so I can get a student rate of £4.90ish (otherwise it'd be something like £6.50!) My friends try to get me to ditch my studies too often to catch a movie but as I'm a student I have no job and therefore no money - the lucky so and sos on EMA and upto £5.20 an hour!

As for snacks, don't get me started - but the best deal is the large popcorn for £3.50! £4 for a bladder-filler anyone? (why are they so big?)
