Just trying to find out if my local is the norm or charging exorbitant prices.
No wonder they're fat, but who cares? It's soooo good.
And lots of legroom and no heads in the way too.
It's the same at the UGC.
The Showcase cinema over in Paisley though is godawful.
Expensive and everything's SMALL.
That's tickets, popcorn, coke and pick'n'mix included.
£4.50 during the day
Drinks/Food = I buy them in the Wilkinson shop a few meters away from my local cinema.
MK (home) - £4.20
York (uni) - £4.10
So, the same. That doesn't help at all. I believe it's about £6 both places for peak. Cineworld in MK, City Screen or Vue in York. In MK I have the option of going to the mighty mighty Easycinema and paying about 50p a ticket. But it's films that have been out for a month and it stinks. So no, Stelios, but thanks.

That's as maybe, but I live here: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=DY10+3XA+(Timmargh) - not my exact location, though.
Frankley
Lickey Road
Reaside Clinic
Wait there's more:
Crofton Hackett
Bell Hill
Some fantastic place names there, Timmy.

Can't speak for the Yanks but I know in Canada is some places it's £12, about £6. Can't be all that different in US? Although they have 40p fuel there and still complain..

It's a nice cinema but Madagascar wasn't worth £7, it's got to be the shortest film i've ever seen.

I think the most I would pay would be about £4, then I have a pound for a drink and sweets. I think most cinemas allow you to bring your own sweets and drinks. I dont go to the cinema much at all, maybe 3 times in the last 5 years. I was suprised that they sold american hotdogs and nachos at the Vue cinema I went to.
My local cinema is actually theatre, and they show movies quite awhile after the cinemas. I think they'll finally be showing Jurrasic Park this summer. Prices last time I checked were £7+ for an adult and you had to book a day in advance or 1 hour before the movie started. I havent been there to watch a movie for over a decade I imagine. Maybe it was The Mask.
