Anyone know of any good sites that show the format of most cv's and good pointers to use when writing a cv?
Or anyone expalin the kind of things they have in their cv's?
Thanks
My pointers would be:
- Update your CV every time you hand it in, with new things you've done, but DON'T change the wording or what have you, that's what the cover sheet's for.
- Try to keep it all on one page if possible, otherwise no more than two. Try not to have sentences falling off the bottom of a page.
- Make sure it's very easy to read. The font and font size are vital. It is quite good to include page width lines to break up different sections. Try not to jump all over the place with italics and different sizes and so on.
- Make sure you give all possible contact details.
- Make sure you know exactly whats on your CV and everything about it inside out.
I'll add more later.
:)
