Very odd game indeed.

The final monument is built (big big circular thing called the Tower of Babel). Cutscene plays. The monument blocks out the sun, fierce winds whip around the place and the water level rises. The tribespeople run around screaming, ground starts cracking and sinking. The Tower of Babel starts to topple looking like it's going to fall on three of the humans, Doshin steps in and holds it up, smiling down at the people as they all sink into the ground. There's a voice over from Sodoru about him being one with the island and existing forever. Doshin collapses into the sea and turns to stone (in the same shape as that Hairpin monument thing where you start each day). End of cut scene. Seems pretty normal in an apocolyptic way but then it gets weird... A new day starts with a new Doshin on the body of the old one. You wander around his body until you find some aliens who have set up camp near the head. They start building a monument and ask for a flower. You give them it and they fly off in the spaceship they've built. Roll credits.

No, the new maps are crap, but the endings worth seeing/playing. It gives closure, just in a very bizzare way.
The shlong will live on forever.
Very odd game indeed.
