It may well do. But the kids of today laugh at the police and have no respect for authority whatsoever. I know quite a few policemen, and they all do a good job... to know that people laugh at them, shout abuse and have a blatent disregard for their service is sickening. With more opportunities for crime to flourish, there are more oportunities to catch the criminals. You argument is only partially true.

Operation Iraqi Freedom was predominantly to get Hussein out, restore order and democracy to Iraq and let the US take control of the Oil.
Wrong though some of it may be (and some of the story is VERY wrong), i'm sure that enough people died under the rule of Saddam Hussein.

I understand that concern and civilian casualties in any war are NEVER a good thing. However, the deaths and injuries of civilians in Iraq were never intentional. Operation Iraqi Freedom was predominantly to get Hussein out, restore order and democracy to Iraq and let the US take control of the Oil.
