Perhaps we've just signed someone awesome that he wants to play alongside, like another 'Boro midfielder. Maybe Doriva.

Yes they will. I was pretty miffed at him(altho not enough to burn a shirt) and i was thankful in what he has helped us to achieve but it really felt like he was screwing us over and we were losing our hero and a legend in our eyes and the way it alll unfolded really hurt. It felt like he was betraying us but he has come out and eased our angers fears and any tension and my adoration for him has returned.

Now now, that was a minority. And the ones doing it didn't look like university graduates either.

I was more confused than miffed at Gerrard when he said he was leaving. I couldn't understand why he was leaving. It just didn't make sense.

It would seem that there was something going on behind the scenes but he has almost certainly committed himself to Liverpool and I'm happy about that.

Liverpool really need to push for the Premiership this season.

I'm just glad he's made up his mind. I'm staying, I'm going, I'm staying...sheesh.

He'll leave next season.
