In other news, I think buses are just the governments way of getting old people, chavs and retards (literally) off the streets. Which is fine by me, but sometimes I have to use them too.
There was this guy, must have been about 50 who was on the bus. I thought there was something a bit weird when before we got on, at the stop, he sat down and just laughed to himself for no reason. Like, loud laugh. Not just a little chuckle. And the way he kept looking at his socks was weird too. And oh my god, who actually wears white socks? Come on. So yeah, I think "let's not sit too close to this guy". So he went to the back and I stayed near the front. Which was some awesome forward planning because whilst on the bus he started singing very loud.
(Edit: He wasn't drunk or anything, I don't think... just... you know...)
There was an old couple sat behind me with a thick brummy accent who gave each other a running commentry on the bus journey...
"He's singing to himself again"
"uhhh"
"There's that woman with her dog by the bus shelter"
"uhhh"
"Did you see the fish tank in that house?"
"uhhh"
"It was big"

Oh yeah, and there were two women about 25 or so who kept looking at me. NOT in a good way. It was the kind of look you'd give someone you suspected of killing your parents. Weird... They were all ugly and stuff... I was wondering if they were lesbians. They looked like it. Like, you know, the manly sort. Oooh, maybe they could read my mind and that's why they kept giving me said looks... It was quite unsettling.
VERY glad to get off that bus.
