X & Y is brilliant though. 5 stars, and all that. Out of 5, by the way. Not sure whether it's X & Y or Warnings/Promises for my album of the year.
And yeah, Greenday have always sucked.
Green Day on the other hand have never been good in my opinion. Grunge was overpowering the charts at the time the punk bands appeared, and the Grunge lot were far better - Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden??

A lot of bands are better on their albums, because they can have as many tries as they like. Live, it's a different story.
X&Y is an amazing album though.
