Haven't bought anything since X & Y. Really should, but there's a lack of good releases at the moment.

X & Y is brilliant though. 5 stars, and all that. Out of 5, by the way. Not sure whether it's X & Y or Warnings/Promises for my album of the year.

Something by Explosion in the Sky. Dunno the title.

And yeah, Greenday have always sucked.

Old school Offspring are pretty good - the single 'Come out to play' is pretty unique and very anthem orientated, which reflects their punk roots. Nofx's old stuff is great too - much grittier and heavier, and that's the way I like it.

Green Day on the other hand have never been good in my opinion. Grunge was overpowering the charts at the time the punk bands appeared, and the Grunge lot were far better - Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden??

Can't beat 'em.

A lot of bands are better on their albums, because they can have as many tries as they like. Live, it's a different story.

X&Y is an amazing album though.
