Pirates, do they say "oooh-arrrr, me hearties" or "arrrr, me hearties"?

This is causing friction in the EB household.

I believe that the adition of the "oooh" makes the pirate, in fact, a farmer. Am I correct, or am I crazy?

It's not 'yargh'
The '-gh' ending is ridiculous, like the pirate was shouting and bit into something horrible at the same time.

and yes EB, the addition of "oooh" makes it into a farmer.
