Finally after 2 weeks, I have our telephone/TV/Broadband all sorted. TWO WEEKS it took for them.

We finally got someone to come round and install it yesterday afternoon..'It'll be up an working in half hour' he told me. But was it? WAS IT HELL.

Anyhoo...I'm back...

I can imagine you sat there like that episode of Friends where they have free porn and they won't turn off the TV in case it stops..

NTL are run by actual, real-life spastics. It's true. We used to have NTL cable but we upgraded to Sky and told NTL we wanted to cancel with them. We stopped paying for the service, but they never came to collect their equipment, and never turned our cable off. Despite us sending them several letters saying, in pretty much these exact words, YOU ARE GIVING US FREE CABLE. This was a few months ago.

A while ago we got a letter from them saying 'Please come back to NTL!'
