I got it yesterday, on the day of release. £25 for 24 episodes and extras, which is basiucally a pound per episode, and oh my lord how it's worth it. I've watch about 5 back to back already and once I've posted some stuff in the Creative Writing thread I'm going straight back to watch the rest.

For 24 weeks? That's some seriously bad timekeeping, CDouch.

Just watched the first half of the DVD boxset. Reminded me why Cox is the man.

I loved Garden State, but the humour in Scrubs is totally lost on me.

Completely different type of humour, might be why. Not an insult or anything.

It's mainly sarcasm based with funny situations.

ie your average american sitcom.

I realise that, just doesn't float my boat.

It can get a bit tiresome sometimes though. Usually just when I'm losing myself in the unique humour of Scrubs, the typical acoustic background music will start and the character will adopt that concerned expression and lower their tone of voice.

It works on occasion, but they do it far too often.

It's unique and it's funny. Very rarely is it 'laugh out loud' funny though.

Aye, it does get a little tedious how everyone has to learn a lesson or realise something important or become a better person in every. single. episode.

But, whatever. It still rocks beyond anything on TV at the moment. Far beyond it.

Those who disagree ... well, while you're entitled to your own opinions, they would happen to be, in this case, completely and utterly wrong. Head-shakingly, tongue-cluckingly wrong.

Tiltawhirl, have you perhaps caught it halfway through a series without watching episode 1, series 1?
