Nintendo will get it up and running before the PSP's launch if they know what's good for them. But then, when do Nintendo ever know what's good for them?

'Should' not 'will'
That's what Ninty should do to keep any fraction of sales when PSP launches.

But Ninty are still saying 'within the next 6 months' and 'for the holidays'

Which probably means the Christmas holidays.

I'm looking forward to Animal Crossing DS. Multiplayer (not just living in the same town) would be awesome.

It would be great for us.

But then the PSP would end up launching with GTA and Nintendo would have naff all in the way of sales all over again.

Well seeing as it's online, and the DS online service won't be launched till after the summer, plus the fact that it's only SR who have it listed as July, I'd say September or even December is more likely.

Mind you, some sites are saying Animal Crossing is September, others (like SR) are saying July....

...Please let it be July...
