The daddy of them all however is Hot Shots Golf: Fore! It DOESN'T get any better than that ;)
Come over to the Ninty forum mate. Everyone's attacking Dringo.
Quite funny, actually.
Add to that the infinetly superior single player mode, the amazingly polished menu system, the big name players, the famous courses, the licensed equipment and so many more things.
It's just a world apart from the drab Links game. Links attempted to be like Tiger woods and failed miserably. As all the reviews I've read have said, the only reason to choose Links over Tiger would be if you REALLY wanted to play golf online.
But for me even the online play couldn't save what is really a very bad golf game. Infact I think the most fun I had on Links was smashing the ball at the crowd and watching them attempt to dodge it 10 seconds after it hit them in the face.
The commentary really sums up the crapness of Links "This shot from...........10 yards"
> Tiger Woods just feels so... [I]plastic
Or maybe wooden?
Why?
They're all basically the same.
EA don't make Drastic changes to their games.
Ever since I got Live my offline game buying has been restricted to only ones that look really good. So a game that's practically the same as the version I already own but with more courses and better animation on the golfers nasel hairs, isn't really my first choice purchase.
Tiger Woods owns Links though..
That mildly amused me :)
Anyway Titla, do you buy the Tiger Woods games every year?
