Take a look at the names below and tell me how many of them you saw on the BBCs coverage of Glastonbury.

Ash
Keane
Van Morrison
Tori Amos
The Beautiful South
Jem
Bright Eyes
Babyshambles
Bloc Party
Royksop
KT Tunstall
Echo and the Bunnymen
Rufus Wainwright

Now admittedly i saw a handful of those, no more than one track from any though, i wasn't even aware most of them were on. Am i the only one who thinks the BBCs coverage was poor at best?

How can you have decent coverage of dull bands? I watched a bit of it and the performances were soulless and just plain boring.

GNR's live performances are good musically, it's just Axl's awful voice that's the problem. I don't even like his voice in the studio versions anyway. And Lost Prophets are a rubbish nu-metal band, of course they'll be crap live.

If only it was that simple.

Ever heard G 'N R's version of 'we will rock you'? Or perhaps Lost Prophets 'A view to a kill'?

Live performances are only inferior to studio versions if the band is crap.
In which case, why would you be listening to a crap band anyway?

Up to your armpits in mud and faeces?

Sounds like an absolute joy.

The only live stuff I bother with are from the carefully put together live albums of bands thath ave been playing live for ages. Most live stuff is too weak to bother with.

In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
