Half decent pace? He's one of the quickest strikers around. And what's more, he scores goals. So of course he's an asset.

I wouldn't call, as AJ says, 2 seasons in a row as top scorer in what is (wrongly, really) claimed to be the most defensive league in Europe "lucky"

I've never seen a game where he's impressed me.

He just seems to get lucky, a lot.

Like against Milan, if Dida hadn't tried to dive at his feet, while he was attempting a header, there was no way it would have gone in.

Yeah, I know Drogba is overrated. £24 million? Pfft.

Anyway, TOP SCORER IN SERIE A TWO SEASONS IN A ROW. It's hardly a minor accolade to have. And he would have been this season as well if he hadn't been injured and only played about 12 matches. Which he still managed 7 goals in, by the way.

And as I also mentioned, 31 goals in 58 appearences for a national team is pretty damn impressive.

Overrated.

Drogba would never finish as top scorer in Serie A two seasons in a row, or score more than 30 international goals for France in under 60 games.
