If he does go, with Forssell already gone, it'll leave Chelsea needing two new strikers. Wouldn't be surprised if they moved for Owen or a big name in Spanish/Italian leagues like Adriano.

But they've got the major competition of WBA for his signature :-D

I'd hate to see Kezman leave. After scoring so many goals in the Dutch league he was a little arrogant, and believed he was better than he has proven to be. I'd love to see him stay and do equally poorly next season.

Kezman has an EU passport, doesn't he?

I think Atletico would rather have Saviola, being fairly proven in the league, already speaking the language and having no problems adapting, and having an EU passport.

If they don't get Saviola however, Kezman will probably leave.

A huge blow? It what way? He hardly played. And "only £3 mil" - Chelsea could give him away and not suffer.

It's probably the best thing to do I think. Kezman didn't score a lot, and neither did Drogba. So lose one of them, bring a world class striker in. They've already had an offer for Eto'o turned down. They only have one out and out stiker in the first team usually, so with Gudjohnsen, Drogba, and a new striker, they won't need Kezman.

Was gonna make a post pleading for him to stay, but realised the trend after I did the same for Mikael.

Forssell leaving was a huge blow, especially for only £3 million.
I don't think Kez should leave, if he plays next season he will score. Think it would be taking the easy way out for him to leave, but guess if I was in his shoes, I'd want to be guaranteed first team football every week.

But yeah, don't leave son, you'll be a genius next season......
