This comes to around £770. Obviously things can be adjusted to meet your needs and I've probably missed a few things.
Basically a few things you should be aware off.
1) The case and power supply may seem expensive, however never go for a cheap power supply.
2) Make sure the processor is a 939pin and not 724.
3) For RAM, you want DDR400 at CL2 or CL2.5
4) A low responce time on TFT's are vital for gaming and movies etc
Edit
oh yer would a CRT screen be better? i have enough space for one...
> All that is worth, at max, 300. Max. Maybe 330 if pushing it.
can you find prices to each of the well i dont know the technical jargon (parts?:S) of the pc which = 330 and ill get someone to build it for me....
You know exactly what you're getting and you don't have to rely on a company building you the cheapist pc available.
or to rephrase that, what should i be expecting for that price?
and im not really bothered bout cudtom builidng althoughthat input is quite helpful, i mean more of a mainstream price would be nice :)
