hey all im not that sure about the current price of pc's so is this a good deal?

I never make those huge power supply posts. Yes, I have an OCZ Powerstream 600W, but that's because I wanted it, nothing more. I have another system, 1.8 GHz Duron based, that runs on a 200W cheapo.

Oh and a 3.5 MHz P4? I mean, I know Netburst sucks and all, but it is rare to see it outperformed by a 386.

Nice case choice there... Are you installing the extra fan? <-- If you go with the Antec as suggested by Damarus - That power supply is awesome, it powers my overclocked 3.5 Mhz P4 as well as an X800XT with no problems, and as far as I know that AMD processor uses much less juice than Intels offerings...

Before the usual "Get a humongous power supply" posts start to appear...

I unwittingly got CL3 once and the performance hit compared to CL2 was noticable. I'm very cautious about my RAM buying now.

no. Get CL2 or at least CL2.5
It's CAS Latency, so the higher the number is, the bigger the latency is.
