How does it matter which way Heineken is brewed?
Perhaps with it being sideways the giant tap is on one of the ends, removing the larger from the middle of the tank, but again wouldnt make any difference, they're gonna use all of it's contents.
There's a very logical answer to this somewhere. There has to be!

Maybe the concentration of the more powerful substances is in a certain side of the tank due to the weight of it or something.

Although I thought the whole point of beer was that it was done with CO2 not O2...
