Confederations Cup almost makes up for no tournaments.
3rd time unlucky.

It was needless though. What did he die for? The cause of clearly going on to lose against a far superior team, in a purely money generating scheme of a tournament?
I never approved of the Confed Cup. I'd prefer to think that I have enough respect for the sport, to not stoop down and get a couple of kicks out of something that's rediculous.
Rugby and cricket can map out my summer...

"hello... i am john... sorry what does that say... oh right yeah... Barnes... welcome...etc"
on the plus side, Adriano and Juninho's goals. (and the hilarious commentary leading up to the freekick!)
I watched the game, it was all too easy for Brasil (probably got a roasting after losing convincingly to the Argies) but Juniniho's freekick to round things off was excellent after only being on the field a short time.
The strike made Houlliers eyes pop out (not that he needs any help with that :)
I refuse to participate in enjoyment of the Confederations Cup ever since Marc Vivien Foe passed away in the middle of the match. That was deeply depressing to see live-ish. And to happen to such a general legend and nice guy.
