In my opinion, I think that humans will have to resort to actually harvesting other planets resourcesm but in a peacful manner of course. I think this will happen in the far future. But with technology these days, we may discover something that will open up doors to many other things and inventions (ex. electricity opened up millions of doors to things and inventions)

now i am only 15. wats ur opinion? id really like to hear it

Thats my opinion, we have to find a way for it NOT to be impossible. The invention of electricity way discover like not too long ago ( less then 100 years, iunno im only 15) and when it was, it opened the doors to millions of inventions. I think that there might be something else out there somehow that will open more doors, millions of doors.

Secondly, wind is an alternative to gas and oil.

Think so...
^to the fact that I've seen Armageddon

Anyway, how will they mine enough to be financially viable, when you consider the huge cost of transport, and that can barely hold ten astronauts. Voyages to other planets take years, it would cost so much to send parts and machinery to mine, far more than actually recycling and stuff.

But seriously little man, calm down. It's funky when you think outside of the proverbial box at a young age. People are bound to criticise you for having ideas, people beleives the world was flat for centuries. Just because people thing it's a crazy idea now doesn't mean your wrong. You gotta learn to accept criticism as well as praise though mate.
