Yup. This was after an incredibly stressful 54 hours without sleep. And I was jet-lagged (o_o).

I've slept for a whole day as well after three days of not sleeping at all.

During my exams, I barely slept at all. It couldn't be attributed to worry, because frankly I didn't care, but I just couldn't sleep, and found I could just watch the night as it got darker then lighter, with only, at maximum, an hours doze a night.

Though my god, sleep deprivation really affects your coordination, especially when playing football...

The best sleep is when you've been up for 24-36 hours and you finally hit the pillow and go out like a light.

However, I have to add that I think that's BS though. Because I slept for near on a day when I was extremely sick.

You freak!

:D

Scientist experimenting people studied people with sleep deprivation and apparently the body never sleeps the amount it has missed out on in one go, it averages it out over about 5 days.

It's really disorientating isn't it? I thought I'd nodded off for an hour or so, I didn't work it out until I noticed the TV listings were wrong :S

I slept for about 18 hours once.

I got up and my family were having dinner, I was so confused.

Heh. Anyone ever actually slept for a full 24 hours before? After I got back from Australia I slept for nearly 25 hours, was the most bizzare feeling I've ever experienced. It took me a while to work out I'd missed out on a full day.
