Mario kart on the Gamecube is the best but i want to know who u think the best two characters are and why

I think that paratrooper and baby BOWSER are imense but wat do you think???

Mario/Toad.

Mario for his fire balls. It's a guaranteed hit.

Toad for the golden Mushroom.

I use Diddy Kong and either Toad or Baby Bowser. Being in the lead and getting loads of big bananas or Bowser shells helps keep me in the lead. Putting Toad in gives me the option of mushroom power if I have a bad race.

My favourite pair is Baby Mario and Donkey Kong. And basically any combination of light and heavy characters is the 'best' combo, because
they boast the highest Acc. and Weight than any other. However, that doesn't neccesarily mean they're "the best". It all boils down to strategy in the end.

On the other hand, there's also 'cheating'. If you know one of the other players(if multiplayer) is bad at certain courses, you could play that one and wait at the finish line in the final lap. Then, when they think they're about to win- or you think they've had enough...

Not ture I've gotten it loads of time when I was second.

Except you never get the golden mushroom unless you're in last place.

I use Boo and yoshi, for some reason, although I like to use Daisy just because she says "Hi I'm daisy" everytime you switch her to driver.

Toad is great for his Golden Mushroom.
