For those who've never seen 24, or the silly ones who came in half-way through, I strongly recommend this. They're starting off with a double bill. Arguably the best series of the four, and a monumental plot twist at the end ;0)

Aye, it was a much better series back then.

I enjoyed it. It is interesting remembering how the first season felt compared to the 4th season we are on now.

I have the DVD. You're wrong. I just checked, and it goes from 1:17:47am to 1:31:19 (there is no 1:33 timer, so I'm just assuming you didn't pay attention) in the space of 8 minutes, 52 seconds. When you factor in a 4 minute advert, that adds up.

I fell asleep at the 40th minute of the 1st episode. Not that it was bad I was just tired. It's that that good but it was ok.

Yeah, but that'd require an 11 minute ad break at some point to stay "real".

well thats because it has space for ad breaks in it. Note how each episode is only actually 45 minutes long.

It went from 1.17 to 1.33 in the space of about 5 minutes in the second episode.

So, this who hadn't seen it before - opinions?

Yay, only just noticed this on TV, i'm hoping they'll finally show season 3 and 4 after this.

Trying to watch the series on DVD.. But not progressing very fast.
