One that wants to make sure that they don't play at 50 gigs in a row doing the exact same thing each time which turns out to be toss?
You try a new thing, "Hmmm, fans liked that, do it again"
You try a new thing "Hmmm, fans thought it was crap, never again"

Munnnnnn
By all means take in how the fans reacted to the songs you play, but they studied videotape of themselves during the gig, how rock and roll their spontaneous punches in the air looked, how cool their stances are and the exact degree one should hold his guitar to attain coolness.
WATCH OUT, THE EDGE WILL CUT YOU!
I didn't mind him but I've got little time for him after he did that talk at the New Labour conference.
God doesn't walk down the street thinking he's bono/Bob
