DVD? Yeah right, who would want to worry about more CD's?!

"DVD is nothing but a waste of time! I think i'll stick to good Old VHS!"

Pride, such a terrible thing... it's something that stops gamers from experiencing quality games from 'The Opposition' shall we say... and it is the same for VHS owners...

Okay so DVD's are a bit more expensive but the quality of picture, sound, and overall experience is more than worth it...

DVD, stands for Digital Video Disc and it is the next generation of optical disc storage technology. It's essentially a bigger, faster CD that can hold cinema-like video, better-than-CD audio, and computer data.

I have only just had the chance to experience DVD technology at my cousins house and I have to say it is nothing short of amazing...

Thinking of getting a new VHS... Pah! Get with the times!

Look into it... there is more to it than you think...

And if you do get one, you'll see that Filmaday won't be such a FAD after all!!

I thought the analogue transmitters were getting shut off in ten years anyway.. so won't we all have to go digital sooner or later?

I'm too bothered about not being able to record. It would be a great selling point, and it's definitely going to happen, but how expensive will they be on release? No doubt the price will plummet in about a year, from around £800 for a machine to £250. Also, the quality won't be as good as you're relying on the television reception to be of a good standard. I guess we're all going to have to go digital.. Oh dear....

DVD is a lot better than VHS, for starters you can hold a lot more data on a DVD than you can on a VHS and its much easier to get to certain places in films. The quality is a lot better, DVDs are alot easier to store and plus they make it seem like your well off. and anyway most compuers have DVD players so you dont evan need to buy a DVD player cos you can hook your computer up to your tv and play it through their

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
