Yesterday, I managed to get hit by one of my own turtle shells that I'd fired.

But wait. It's not one of those green ones that rebound off stuff, cos everyone gets hit by their own one of those. I managed to get hit by one of the homing ones I fired lol, I seemed to overtake it by cutting a corner on DK Jungle and it hit me lol.

Getting hit by a chain chomp right on the finish line of the last lap. IT'S SO ANNOYING!!!

It's amusing how in the movie at the end of each race your characters's driving skills drop considerably.

One good thing about DD was that it made it quite possible to 'throw off' a red shell if you were a skilled enough driver, whereas in previous versions it was pretty much luck if it missed you.

I managed to be chased by a yoshi egg for all the time that it stayed on the track... about 10 seconds. Quite skilled I thought. TY mushrooms.

I've been hit by red shells loads of times that i've fired forwards it's not uncommon.

And the other 2 players are cursing. Then you in the star knock the lighting bolt bloke off a cliff or somet.

And then you become rather popular.

Oh MK, how I need to play you now.

I love it when things go right though, such as when you use a Star and immediately someone else uses a lightning bolt.

That's just funny. Or releasing it then over-taking first place.

Even worse is not realising you're in first place and releasing your purple leader shell.

Ah dear.
