Two weeks ago I started a job in WHSmith, as unpaid film work doesn't exactly pay the bills.
Today an old semi-friend from school came in after getting home earlier today from Uni. He's studying to become a doctor of some sort and it made me realise just how much I'm wasting my time putting out ink cartridges and magazines in a shop. He was asking who I still see and all the names I could think of were the lowlifes who just wander around not achieving anything.
There's good possibilities of a fantastic, unbelievable job coming my way sometime after September...but that's months away and isn't confirmed. I don't know how much longer I can continue getting up at 6AM for this job every day.
Plus I'm really considering Uni next year. For the meantime I think I'll ask about going on a supervisor course that the manager mentioned to me as it'll make my CV look a bit better.
