Either get a new laser (£70 from most places to order it in) or a new PS2, which is what I had to get.

Have cleaned the lens many times. Also tried game on another ps2 same problem, comes up message (error reading disc). No scratches on disc.
I think you'll find that none of us are having any problems :)
