Anyone see the "Next week on Dr. Who" at the end of the second worst episode of Dr. Who on Saturday?

They're back, and it looks like they're running versions of Big Brother and The Weakest Link.

This could either be TV brilliance or it could go horribly wrong...

No, just because the message has appeared, you don't know he *will* die, you expect him to pull through because *spoilers* the regeneration was slated for being in the Xmas episode, not that one.

I wasn't expecting that thing to happen this episode, no way. Though as you say the episode's title hints at the ending to the series.

Or just a happy mix?

Seems weird a third series has been confirmed when the first hasn't ended. And Billie Piper will be back for a full second series by the way.

Ecclestone dies and regenerates as Tennant.
In the episode, yep. Not in the Xmas special.
Which means all the hoo-har about him "quitting after one series" ... well that seems to have always, always been the plan.
Oh and the Emporer Dalek is just.. an important Dalek. No Adam involved.

Unless it is Adam, not necessarily as Davros, but leader of the Daleks... unless the whole past of Davros was wrong.
