"A-Level exam results day advice"

Basically, I'm going to be away on results day (18th August) and won't be getting back until the 21st. What is the procedure that takes place either on the 18th or soon after? I'm available to phone-in and get my results, but I don't see how it's going to be of much use if I have to send off a letter or whatnot. If someone could just explain what takes place, that would be fantastic.

You can arrange for someone else (friend/relaitve) to pick up your results for you and tell you them?

They try to update at midnight. If you don't get the results you need to get into your university, your application will be re-assessed. This might mean that you'll find out later if you do or do not get into your uni.

They update at midnight? Ooh, that helps. That's 7pm East-US time, so I can find out without having to wake up at 4am. :)

That is what I said.

All you need is your UCAS track number and passcode.
