I remember a bloke called Matt who i wanted to win and a bloke i think was called Jonah and they all used to wind up Al Snow and Bill DeMott by playing pranks on each other and stuff, like taking all of the tyres off of Als jeep.
Anyone know who won that series? I think it used to be on Sky One but i havent seen it for a while?

Ah yes that'd be the 'waste him on the mid-card in pointless feuds when he should be challenging for the world title strap' ............ kind of like now :-D
Oh and side note to Jericho from the highlight reel segment. You've never been dumped? Trish did a good job of dumping you when she left for Captain Charisma at Wrestlemania :-D

Jericho is obviously being made to look weak because he's stalling over the new contract. Hence being jobbed out to everyone and his granny and this whole stupid, 'I don't really care about wrestling cos I have other stuff going on' gimmick which is fooling no-one.
Expect normal service to be resumed if and when he signs a new deal.
I think though that they bring a hell of a lot of heels in and then turn them face after not long, e.g. Heidenreich.
I think Eugene is still popular even though he is not around lately. And he has always been a face (i suppose he started turning heel with his Triple H stint, but then he came back to face quite quickly)
I think it all depends on the gimmick whether they are successful or not because no-one really wants to boo a retard. But other faces might not get off so easy.

the way things are going for Jericho, he'll prolly put the masterlock over :-\
Chracters are often introduced as heels because the crowd needs a reaon to like someone in this climate of industry. Go back 15 years and there were faces appearing all over the place, it was a more vibrant and colourful time in wrestling and the crowds were far different from the "attitude" crowds and modern audiences.
Remember when the Rock first appeared as Rocky Maivia? got cheered for about a week then booed out the building. No-one likes sqeaky clean newcomers anymore and turning heel was probably THE defining point of his career. If you're a heel, you can tease a turn to build heat and get the crowd behind you to ensure you have people cheering when you go face (a la Orton, Batista) or you can just be so outstanding that they have no choice but to cheer you (Benoit became an overnight face after his royal rumble match with Angle. of course he had to do his part and avoid heel tactics in the ring, but that match was designed to put both guys over, regardless of status)
With the Masterlock challenge i think it will get more interesting if he plans on challenging superstars every week as he claims to have the best submission in the WWE it can only be so long before Benoit or Jericho have something to say about it.
It annoys me the way he/the commentators go on about how nobody has broken the masterlock because Booker T did in the battle royal at Wrestlemania 21.
I can certainly see how the Kurt Angle Invitational, and to a lesser extent the Masterlock Challenge, could be used to introduce new faces. But so far no one has beaten either of them, heh.
It would be nice to have some new Face characters come in. People say heels have more impact when they come in, but if someone came in and started kicking the hell out of Muhammad Hassan and Daivari i would be cheering them on!
Hopefully, it'll be quite soon, maybe introduced during the draft lottery along with Johnny Jeter, where they can renew their fued with MNM.
